Asseco and Equinix cooperate
to deliver multi-cloud model

Asseco Data Systems and digital infrastructure provider Equinix cooperate to offer their clients solutions that are entirely cloud-based or based on hybrid architecture. As a result, customers can easily, directly, and securely build multi-cloud IT environments – taking advantage of integrated services offered by various public cloud providers.

OpEx savings and simplicity

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated digital transformation and increased companies’ interest in cloud services. What was previously merely a plan has suddenly become a real need and the foundation of operations on which the pace of growth depends. The cloud provides flexibility and agility, which have become particularly important in view of the recent situation. However, the development of such infrastructure must be well designed and based on cooperation with trusted partners in order to maximize data security.

“Thanks to the cooperation between Asseco Data Systems and Equinix, we are able to provide customers with high-end connectivity services that guarantee the reliability and security of data exchange. This is important for any organization planning to move its systems to the cloud or an external data center. When observing the market, we see that companies wishing to protect themselves against the risks resulting from the current market situation increasingly more often decide to migrate their systems to providers that guarantee greater flexibility and security of services. Asseco in cooperation with Equinix responds to such needs by providing its customers with high-end solutions tailored to their needs and expectations,” said Marcin Lebiecki, Managing Director of the Cloud & Data Centre Department, Asseco Data Systems.

Locally, but also globally

Equinix works with the world’s leading providers of public cloud services, including Asseco. As a digital infrastructure provider, the company offers, among other things, direct connect services that enable secure connectivity to more than 220 data centers located on five continents. The company’s
on-demand direct connectivity, Equinix Fabric ™ – which enables any company to connect between its own distributed infrastructure and that of others – brings seamless integration of applications and services running in different, even very remote data centers. While maintaining low transmission latency between the local environment and the infrastructure of cloud computing service providers.

“We are pleased that this partnership provides further support to customers using multi-cloud models. Ensuring process continuity and access to data is critical, and with the Equinix® platform, we can help improve the security of corporate infrastructure. We see growing interest in digital transformation initiatives in Poland, and many digital leaders are looking for education and support in implementing new IT infrastructures. Together with Asseco, we offer guidance on providers’ cloud and infrastructure
as-a-Service options so customers can benefit from solutions that meet their companies’ requirements,” added Robert Busz, Managing Director of Equinix in Poland.
