Asseco Data Systems is being formed – one of the largest Polish IT companies

The Management Board of Asseco Poland S.A. has decided to build the company Asseco Data Systems S.A. (ADS). It will be created on the basis of the competences of six Polish companies from Asseco Group – ADH-Soft Sp. z o.o., CK Zeto Łódź S.A., Combidata Poland Sp. z o.o., Z.U.I Otago Sp. z o.o., PI Zeto Bydgoszcz S.A. and Unizeto Technologies S.A. Asseco Data Systems S.A. will supply products and services, based on proprietary and third-party software, solutions and infrastructure. The focus of the company will be on serving enterprises and institutions of local government administration in the local market.

Asseco Data Systems S.A. will focus its expertise and many years of experience of the companies forming it. The company will offer solutions and software for local government administration and businesses. The offer of ADS will also include dedicated systems for customers throughout Poland, e.g. from the leasing and financial sector. It will also be the largest Polish center that supports the electronic signature. The scope of activities of the company will cover the area of electronic document management, and printing services and mass mailing. It will become a leader in the sector of training services and provider of platforms for human resources management and e-education. ADS will also manage modern data processing centers.

“Within a single company, we will focus the unique competences of nearly a thousand experts and specialists,” said Andrzej Dopierała, President of Asseco Data Systems S.A. “This will allow us to become a reliable partner in creating, developing and maintaining information systems and IT infrastructure,” he added.

The main purpose of building Asseco Data Systems S.A. is to create better opportunities for business growth than those that the consolidated smaller companies had previously. It will also allow for the acquisition of major contracts and additional capital investment. The company will also benefit from the potential associated with name recognition and the established position of Asseco brand. The large scale operation of ADS will also translate into a stronger position within the entire Asseco Group. Close cooperation is expected with the infrastructure division of Asseco Poland S.A. (directed by Andrzej Dopierała), but also the creation of joint offers with other companies of the Group, for instance Asseco Business Solutions S.A. which specializes in ERP systems. The offer of ADS will also have several products that can exist outside Polish borders. Foreign companies of the Group can help in their sales.

“The appointment of ADS will bring a number of benefits to our current and future customers, who will have access to a wider range of innovative and competitive products, services and solutions,” said Andrzej Dopierała. “Thanks to the greater potential, strong know-how and very good knowledge of customer needs, the company will be able to become an even better partner to work with,” he added.

ADS will commence its activities at the beginning of 2016 in several dozen locations throughout the country. The structure of the company will be based on business divisions, which will be responsible for specific products, services and customers. This will allow the efficient and orderly distribution of tasks, and consequently a high level of customer service.

“We have focused unique competences of experts and specialists under one company. We currently employ nearly 700 people, of whom 65 are in Gdynia. Until the holidays we plan to have a total of more than 1,000 people in all 10 locations. Drawing from this potential will allow us to become a reliable partner in creating, developing and maintaining information systems and IT infrastructure,” said Andrzej Dopierała, President of Asseco Data Systems S.A. “With such employment and revenues of 400 million PLN we can safely claim to be one of the leading IT companies in Poland,” he added.

The main purpose of building ADS is to create better opportunities for business development of companies, which previously operated independently. This means obtaining larger contracts and additional capital investment. The company will also benefit from name recognition and the established position of Asseco brand. The large scale operation of ADS will also translate into a stronger position within the entire Asseco Group. Close cooperation is expected within the Group in Poland and abroad. The offer of ADS already has several products that have occurred on foreign markets and we are keen on expanding the export offer with which the companies from Asseco Group operating outside Poland will help us.
