14 Oct Asseco will create a comprehensive IT system for the city of Sieradz
Asseco will implement an integrated IT system at the Sieradz City Hall. The new IT system will improve city management and allow the creation of an online portal of city services dedicated to residents and local entrepreneurs.
The most important goal of the project “Integrated IT System for bookkeeping” is to implement a uniform system that will manage all city data. The project will benefit not only the city authorities, who will gain an efficient tool supporting management of the city, but also all residents and entrepreneurs operating in the municipality. Data previously scattered in different domain-specific systems will be migrated to a new, centralized system. This will allow the creation of the city’s website – a modern, digital platform of e-services for local administration. It could be used to deal with various official matters: to submit applications, declarations, and to settle one’s obligations to the city through electronic payments.
The project in Sieradz is another IT project implemented by Asseco for the Polish local government, the aim of which is to centralize municipal data. The benefits include more efficient city management, but also an opportunity to provide the residents with a solution that will introduce a new quality in dealing with various matters that previously required direct contact with the office – said Jarosław Jastrzębski, Vice-President of Asseco Data Systems.
The project includes the creation of software solutions, data migration, as well as providing hardware infrastructure. The project will be implemented until 2021, and its value is PLN 982 thousand.
