The pandemic and remote working have significantly hindered paper workflows in companies. Contracts, invoices or employee records require signatures, which often causes delays and unplanned costs when switching to remote working. In a situation where the possibility of direct contact is limited, increasingly more organizations are looking for solutions that will help move document workflow processes to the digital world. One of them is the Polish Information Processing Society (PTI), which, as part of the digitization process, has decided to implement the Signer platform from Asseco. This solution allows the preparation of a business process supporting the transmission of documents for signature to designated people both inside and outside the organization. With the implementation of the platform, the speed, efficiency and convenience of work have been enhanced and paper documents have been largely eliminated.
The Polish Information Processing Society is the oldest Polish organization associating IT professionals. It works for the benefit of the environment as well as the social and economic sphere. PTI, together with Asseco Data Systems, first implemented the Business Identity Confirmation Point and then the Signer Platform in the SaaS model, which reduces the costs associated with having separate client infrastructure and resources for their maintenance.
The pandemic has put our everyday life to the test. Overnight, it became apparent that the processes developed and perfected over the years were no longer suited to the new reality. Reduced interpersonal contacts and remote work made such basic activities in the organization as signing documents a challenge and caused unacceptable delays in daily operations. We realized that we could no longer delay with changes and we had to decide on a solution that would make our work easier, more efficient, safer and faster. The answer to our needs turned out to be the Signer Platform from Asseco.
An additional advantage of the solution is the ecological aspect, because thanks to digitization we reduce paper consumption month by month – says Tomasz Szatkowski, Director of the Chamber of Experts of the Polish Information Processing Society.
Signer is an ecosystem with a consistent interface for all users where documents are made available for electronic signature. Each user logging into the Signer platform has access to their own folder of documents that are waiting for their signature. Thus, the solution enables full support for electronic documents and importantly full standardization of processes in the organization.
