Asseco Data Systems has signed an agreement with the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) to maintain and develop the Workflow system, which is a central component of the Integrated Information System (ZSI) for handling the most important business processes of KRUS. The Workflow system integrates services of domain systems such as Farmer and nSIU used to handle insurance and benefits for farmers and their families. It ensures secure data exchange with external institutions. The new agreement is a continuation of a long-standing cooperation between Asseco and KRUS.

The agreement has been concluded with Asseco Data Systems, which will be responsible for cooperation with KRUS within the Systems Integration Division. The system will be developed by implementing modifications resulting from changes in the legal regulations as well as from other IT projects carried out by KRUS.

The newly signed agreement for the development of Workflow is a continuation of our ten-year cooperation with KRUS. During this time, we have integrated KRUS systems so as to ensure optimum support for our client's critical business processes - says Micha Klejman, Director of the Systems Integration Division at Asseco Data Systems.

Workflow integrates services of domain systems such as Farmer and nSIU used to handle insurance and benefits for farmers and members of their families. Through a uniform user interface in the form of KRUS Employee Portal, it also ensures secure data exchange with external institutions, such as ZUS (e.g. in the area of e - sick leaves), NFZ, ARiMR, MRPiPS and Farmers Rehabilitation Centres. The central Identity Management component ensures control and security of access to ZSI.

This project will be implemented by Asseco Data Systems in cooperation with Asseco Cloud, a company of the Asseco Group engaged in the design, implementation and operation of cloud solutions. In the project implemented for KRUS, Asseco Data Systems will be responsible primarily for the management and security of IT infrastructure - says Lech Szczuka, President of the Management Board of Asseco Cloud

The Worlflow system has been operating in KRUS since 2011. It handles more than 50 million calls from users per month. Apart from production maintenance of the system, Asseco Data Systems also provides technical and end-user support.
