Remote leasing process using one-time qualified digital signatures from Asseco Data Systems
March 12, 2026

Speed and simplicity attract customers to leasing companies. mLeasing has capitalized on this by introducing a new digital process that takes place entirely remotely, right from the customer’s decision on financing up to the signing of the contract. Users of the new digital version of the mLeasing Platform can utilize a one-time qualified signature thanks to SignHub from Asseco Data Systems. The Asseco Data Systems solution supports various types of electronic signatures compliant with the eIDAS 2.0 Regulation, using the mObywatel app, which is set to be integrated with the European Digital Identity Wallet currently under development.
The implementation of SignHub supports the transition of the leasing process to a digital channel, from selecting an offer, through submitting an application, to signing the contract. The mLeasing customer can perform all these steps from anywhere, on any device with Internet access. Importantly, they do not need to have their own digital signature and can obtain a one-time qualified digital signature through the mLeasing Platform. This significantly reduces the time required to complete all formalities.
Security of qualified signatures
The security of online business processes based on electronic signatures is significantly enhanced by qualified validation. On the mLeasing platform, this is performed using the WebNotarius service, which guarantees the authenticity of signatures.
“The cooperation between mLeasing and Asseco Data Systems demonstrates how combining a comprehensive leasing platform with qualified trust services enables the creation of a fully digital, secure, and customer-friendly contract signing process,” explains Katarzyna Szerling, Vice President of mLeasing.
In accordance with eIDAS 2.0
As a qualified trust service provider, Asseco Data Systems not only provides the technology but also ensures that its solutions remain in constant compliance with evolving European regulations, including eIDAS 2.0. The EU regulation aims to standardize the user experience across the EU and further raise security standards for digital business processes.
The foundation of this change will be a single, universal, and secure signing tool available to everyone in the European Union.
“The cooperation with mLeasing is a great example of how trust services are truly transforming the way business is conducted. The use of SignHub and qualified validation has enabled the creation of a fully digital and secure process for signing lease agreements, compliant with eIDAS 2.0 and accessible to every customer without the need for their own qualified digital signature. This is an example of a transformation that builds a competitive advantage and prepares the organization for the upcoming era of the European Digital Identity,” says Monika Juszczyńska, Key Account Manager at Asseco Data Systems.
